Hong Kong’s rapidly ageing population and a growing talent shortage in Hong Kong underscore the need for a new business model like Retired Not Out. Most companies today are focused on attracting and retaining millennials and Gen Z who are starting to enter the workforce, but there is a strong business case for leveraging older workers as part of a multigenerational workforce. Partnering with Retired Not Out and learning from their expertise has been valuable for our diversity and inclusion work at Community Business, and we look forward to continuing to work together.
I really appreciate the encouragement from the team to keep looking for a position that I really want at this stage in my life. And now I've found it! To take on this assistant general manager role at a new-ish company as it moves into geographic expansion will be amazing. This will give me a chance to contribute to growth. Thank you for being the stand that it's never too late!
Wise at Work (Retired Not Out) provide a great opportunity for experienced job hunters to network and refresh skills while looking to return to the workplace. Priyanka Gothi provided great advice and help during my search. I would definitely recommend her and the retired not out network to anyone currently looking to get back to work.
In January 2019, we asked Wise At Work to urgently help us find some candidates for a Project Manager role as we want to bring someone in asap. Within two weeks, we were sent a lot of great candidates and we are very pleased with the candidates sent over. The candidates are relevant to what we are looking for and the team has been proactive in understanding our process. We really like their recommendations and how the candidates presented themselves throughout the process. All in all, we really appreciate their help.
